Srinagar, Dec 24: Downtown Heroes FC finished it’s campaign on winning note by defeating Hyderya FC by 1-0 in the final played Synthetic Turf TRC ground Srinagar on Wednesday, December 23.
Playing it’s last group match, both teams were playing for pride as already have lost chance to qualify for next round. Downtown Heroes FC started on brilliant note, continuing its aggressive style of play and going for the goals.
Throughout the league Downtown Heroes FC have been playing attractive football and giving tough fight to teams like J&K Bank. In its last match of the league they demonstrated similar style of play against Hyderya FC. After scoring first half goal Downtown Heroes held on to that lead throughout the match to emerge winner. They beat Hyderya Sports by 1-0.

They finished league with one win, two draws and two defeats out of five matches played.
In another match of the group, Arco FC beat Food and Supplies by 2-0 goals. Nayeem and Atefaaq were the scorers for Arco FC.
With these matches the District Srinagar phase of Premier League J&K has concluded.
The league is being organised by J&K Sports Council in collaboration with respective sports associations. Apart from football, competitions of Volleyball, Kabaddi and Hockey were also held.
From Srinagar, J&K Bank FC and Kashmir Avengers FC have qualified for second round in football.
In Volleyball Go Amir Elites, in Kabaddi Acme Sports Academy and in Hockey Badal Hockey Club qualified for second phase.
