Srinagar, April 29: An extra-ordinary display of fast-bowling by Shahrukh Dar handed City Hunks an easy win against ECC Shivpora in the ongoing Qamarwari T20 tourney, here on Monday.
Shivpora, after getting the opportunity to bat first, looked quite ordinary from the very start of the innings. None of their batsmen were able to show resistance against Shahrukh Dar who was bowling at an alarming speed.
The right-arm seamer ripped through the ECC innings, taking a four wicket-haul by giving away paltry 8 runs in his quote of 4 overs. He was well supported by skipper Omar Alam who also chipped in with 3 wickets. Lastly, opposition could only manage to make 80 runs.
To reply this small target, Hunks came out with no sort of pressure whatsoever. They chased down the total with 8 wickets in the hand.
Shahrukh for this unplayable spell received the man of the match award.
