Srinagar: A unbeaten half century by Rajat Paliwal took Haryana total past 200 run mark on the opening day of the Ranji trophy match against JK at Cuttack on Sunday.

After 66 overs, Haryana were 2903 runs for the loss of four wickets with Paliwal unbeaten on 53. Earlier opener NR Saini scored brilliant 90 before getting out to Amir Aziz. JK had brilliant start to the game with skipper Parvez Rasool picking two quick wickets of SG Rohilla and CK Bishnoi. He trapped Rohilla LBW while shuttered stumps of Bishnoi.  Rohit Sharma picked the fourth wicket of the inning, getting rid of SR Chauhan who scored 17.
