Srinagar: The Haryana batting duo of R Paliwal and N Saini punished JK bolwers as Haryana posted 295 for the loss of five wickets on the opening day of the Ranji trophy match at Cuttack on Sunday.
At the end of day’s play Paliwal was not out for Haryana on 99. Before Paliwal, Saini scored brilliant 90 for the team while as P Sharma scored 51. It was the day that first saw JK bolwers dominating and once the early demons from the pitch got away, Haryana batsman smashed bowlers all over the park. It was solid batting performance from the Haryana lead by Paliwal. Paliwal was unbeaten on 99 at the end of day’s play as Sharma got out on last ball of the day scoring 51.
For JK, Parvez Rasool was pick of the bowlers taking three wickets while as Rohit and Amir took one each.
