Srinagar: JK Ranji trophy team tightened its grip on the Ranji trophy match as they bundled out Goa for 77 runs on the second day of the play and then in its second inning JK were on 193 runs for the loss of seven wickets as the match is going on at Surat on Friday.
The day started with Goa struggling 43 for the loss of five wickets. They got all out for 77 runs in 3.5 overs. Ram Dayal was pick of the bowlers for JK with taking four wickets while as Umar Nazir took three. Parvez Rasool took two while as Samiullah took one.
In reply JK were 193 for 7 when this report was being filed. Puneet Bisht was batting on 42 with Samiullah on two. Ian Dev so far has been top scorer of the inning with 64 run knock and Shubam Khajuria with 48. Adil Reshi scored 2, Bandeep 6, Parvez 0, Manhas 12 and Ram Dayal 3.
Earlier in its first inning Jk made 227 runs. Parvez top scored with 82 while as Ian Dev scored 67.Puneet Bisht chipped in with 40 crucial runs.
