
Srinagar, Febuary 19: Rock solid talented youngster Qamran Iqbal was unlucky as he missed the deserving century for J&K on the third day of the Ranji Trophy Tournament match against Pondicherry in Chennai on Saturday.
With Qamran Iqbal got out on the second ball he faced on Saturday without adding run to his tally. He got out on 96 runs getting LBW to Sagar P Udeshi.
Qamran has faced 220 deliveries in which he has hit two sixes and 13 boundaries .
He started well by forming 127 opening stand with Jatin Wadhwan and then formed another stand with Shubham Pundir. As wickets kept falling Qamran Iqbal was rock steady at the other end.
In the middle free flowing Abdul Samad was joined by Parvez Rasool as J&K would like to strech their lead and then go for an outright win.
