Srinagar, February 06: Shubham Khajuria and Parvez Rasool struck fifties on Thursday, steering J&K to 350-run lead in the ongoing Ranji Trophy round-eight match against Tripura at Agartala.

Resuming the innings on overnight score of 49/1, visitors, aiming quarter-berth, started the day steadily and later accelerated with the time. Khajuria looked sound for his 76 runs before being sent back.

However, captain Parvez Rasool, who has been in fine touch, scored a quick fifty to ensure J&K gains healthy lead. He made 56 off 72 balls before in-form Mura Singh removed him.

Shubham Pundir, continuing his dismal run, again scored duck while Fazil Rashid also made meagre 4 runs. At the lunch, Abdul Samad was not out on run-a-ball 17 runs and Auqib Nabi on 1 with J&K 206/6.
