Srinagar: Shubham Khajuria and out of form batsman Mithun Manhas got retired in the resting tough morning session’s play for JK against Himachal Pradesh on the opening day of the Ranji trophy match at Ranchi on Saturday.

At lunch, Jk were two wickets down for the score of 59 runs. However, the biggest worry so far in the inning has been retired hurt of two players Khajuria and Manhas. Parvez was batting at lunch and was yet to open his score. Manhas got retired hurt after scoring 18 while as Khajuria got hurt after 9. Umar Nissar (2) and Ian Dev ( 18) were the only wickets to fall for Jk in morning session. The run-rate of 1.97 per over depicts the tough conditions JK had to endure during the session.ranji
