Rasikh Salam feels lucky to train with Indian legend

Jammu and Kashmir’s only appearance in Indian Premier League 2019, Rasikh Salam has expressed gratification for sharing space with legendary Indian cricketer, Zaheer Khan.

Zaheer, who is Director of Cricket Operations at Mumbai Indians, was seen sharing tips with the teenager a couple of times before he made his debut. Subsequently, after the match, Zaheer largely praised the youngster.

Rasikh didn’t find a place in the playing XI of Indians’ following that match, however, he has been enjoying the atmosphere in there. Having likes of Sachin Tendulkar and Zaheer Khan in the support staff is no less than a dream and it seems Rasikh is making most of this opportunity.

The right-arm pacer on Monday opened up about his company with Zaheer Khan.

“Training under you has been a blessing for me.i feel extremely lucky for the tips you have been sharibg with me…” Rasikh wrote on official Facebook handle.

The Kulgam-born cricketer made brought at 20lakhs by Mumbai Indians in the IPL auction and he made his debut straightaway in the first match of Mumbai against Delhi Capitals.
