Srinagar, December 5: In one of its kind initiative in Kashmir sports arena, top FM Radio station of J&K, Red FM 93.5 have announced its partnership with Srinagar based football club Downtown Heroes FC.
In a statement issued, Red FM has said that they are partnering with Downtown Heroes FC for the promotion of sports across Kashmir.
“For the promotion of sports across valley we delighted to announce our partnership with @DowntownFc our core aim is promoting grassroots football and new talent, ” Programing Director of Red FM Abrar Zargar Tweeted.
“As a apart of this collective collaboration we will be working together in setting up professional women’s football club also .
Our aim is to revive love for football across Valley and assist @DowntownFc to promote the game , ” Abrar said in another Tweet.
Downtown Heroes FC is newly formed I-League aspiring club based in old City of Srinagar. They recently won it’s first tournament and are set to feature in Premier League J&K that kicks off on December 7 in Srinagar.
