Seer, Oct 3: : In the first nail bitting Semi Final of the Seer Sports Cricket Championship, Seer Sports beat Apharwat-XI by one run to book it’s place in final.
Seer Sports won the toss and opted to bat first, managing to score 152 runs with the splendid innings of Shabir Dar with 34 runs while Khalid also added 20 runs for Seer Sports.
In reply, Apharwat-XI Sports Club Baramulla openers gave a splendid start off 90 runs in first ten overs.Sameer Ahmad played a Splendid Knock of 77 runs while Abid Rather added 23 runs.
Seer Sports bowlers held their nerves and bold splendidly with good line and length.Khalid bowled splendid spell and scalped 4 important wickets while Arif took 3 wickets thus won the match by 1 run.Khalid was declared player of the match for his All-round performance while Imran Manzoor was declared player of the moment for his splendid onychophagy last over.
