Sheikh Faheem takes fifer in two-day match

Kurukshetra, January 19: Baramulla cricketer Shiekh Faheem picked a five-wicket-haul on day one of the ongoing two-day match being played between NG Pooja Cricket Academy and Kurukshetra Cricket Academy at SKS Academy in Haryana.

NG Academy are in command at the stumps of day one, trailing by just 38 runs with 6 wickets in hand.

Winning the toss, Kurukshetra Cricket Academy elected to bat first and managed to score 215 runs in 37.5 overs in the first innings. Arjun Yadav played a sublime innings of 123 runs while as Saksham scored a half century as well. Sheikh Faheem was the pick of the bowlers for NG Academy as he bagged 5 wickets for his team.

In response, NG Pooja Cricket Academy ended the day in a strong position as they managed to score 177/4 in 44 overs. Sheikh Tajamul is playing on 75 runs while as Mir Tabish is another unbeaten batsman with 27 runs to his name. Arjun Yadav scalped 2 wickets for for Kurukshetra Cricket Academy on day one.

The play on 2nd day will resume tomorrow at 10 am with NG Pooja Cricket Academy trailing by 38 runs in the first innings.
