Panjipora Sopore, April 23: In the first Semi-finals of the Super 24 Knockout Cricket Tournament Panjipora, Hajin XI defeated Bradman Sopore in a nail-biting encounter by 2 wickets.

Batting first, Bradman posted a par total of 134/10 on board in 20 overs. Fayaz Sarwar top scored with 37 runs and Satpreet Singh added valuable 29 runs to his name. M Ashraf was the wrecker-in-cheif for Hajin as he scalped 4 wickets in his spell while as Sohail also bagged 3 wickets.

In reply, the match went down to the wire and Hajin XI eventually got over the line thanks to the brilliance of Aabid who smashed two back-to-back sixes when his team needed 15 runs in the last over. (135/8 in 20 overs.) Naveed and Aabid scored 33 and 27 runs respectively for Hajin XI. For Bradman, Satpreet Singh took 3 wickets.

M Ashraf was declared as player of the match for his brilliant bowling spell.
