In the second match of the day in 2nd T20 Super Cup Palhallan-2019 Rising Star Sopore outplayed Team Hooked by 7 wickets at Palhallan on June 28.
Team Hooked won the toss and decided to bat first. The openers gave brilliant start to Team Hooked scoring 67 run partnership. Umer lefty scored 42 of 35 balls but once spinner was introduced into the attack Team Hooked batsman started to struggle. They managed to post only 134 runs in allotted 20 overs despite getting great start. Momin contributed with 32 runs, while as Rizwan took 2 wickets for Rising Star Sopore.
In reply Rising Star Sopore got off to brilliant start with opener Junaid scoring quick 26 off 12 balls. Skipper Adil Malik and Fayaz Sarwar played calculated game. Adil Malik scored 40 before getting himself run-out while as Fayaz Sarwar scored unbeaten 35 runs.
They chased target in 17.3 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Riyaz Parry took 2 wickets for Team Hooked.
Adil Malik was adjudged as man of the match.
