Srinagar, September 18: Former Indian cricketer, Suresh Raina, Friday met J&K Lieutenant Governor and Director General of Police to discuss plans pertaining to sports development.
Raian, who called it a day in international cricket, recently, had earlier expressed his will to help budding J&K sportsmen. He is now in Srinagar, discussing various plans with the administration.
“Famed Indian Cricketer Sh Suresh Raina @ImRaina called on DGP J&K Sh Dilbag Singh at PHQ Srinagar and had discussions about a series of plans of J&K Police for encouraging local youth in honing their #sports skills.He volunteered to meet and guide some cricket teams. https://t.co/7HTJjoylBX,” J&K Police tweeted this afternoon.
“Looking forward in shaping the future of our youth in J&K ✌️.. #Jaihind 🇮🇳,” Raina quoted the tweet.
Raina later also met LG, Manoj Sinha.
