Srinagar, January 04: Two players, travelling with J&K Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy squad, have tested positive for Covid-19 and been isolated.

The team was Sunday tested as they arrived to Karnataka late Saturday night. The initial reports suggest two players, both said to be from Jammu province, have tested positive.

“2 players have tested positive and been isolated. There are two more tests to be done yet,” sources cto KSW.

The 22-member J&K squad Saturday left for Karnataka, where they are undergoing quarantine before starting their preparations for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

J&K will start its campaign against hosts Karnataka on January 10.
