Srinagar, 8 September 2021: In the DFA Srinagar Annual League Football Tournament Two matches of Super Div. were played pn Tuesday, 7th of Sept 2021 at Synthetic Turf TRC Srinagar.
The Ist match of the day was played between Syed Tajuddin FC and Young Iqbal FC. Both the teams played quality game and missed some good chances. Their efforts were applauded by the spectators. In the 19th minute of the Ist Half Sanjeev of Syed Tajuddin FC scored a magnificent goal. Young Iqbal Fc tried for equalizer but failed to find the net. In the 34th minute of the game Syed Tajuddin FC consolidated their lead by scoring another goal through Irfan. The Young Turks of young Iqbal FC tried their utmost to find the net but could not penetrate the solid defence of Syed Tajuddin FC. The match ended with Syed Tajuddin FC defeating Young Iqbal FC by 2 goal to Nil.
The 2nd Match played between Musuada Foundation FC and Shari-e-Khas FC. Right from the start of the match, the teams played aggressive football. While forward lines of both the teams made attacks on each other’s goal post frequently in first 10 minutes of the play, the defence lines ensured that no damage was done. Shari-e- Khas FC opened an account in the 10th minute of the game through Munees Ahmad but the team could not hold the lead and Owais of Musuada Foundation FC opend the account for his team and scored back to back three Goals in 15th, 20th & 25th Minute of th game. Faizan Fayaz scored 4th goal for Musuada Foundation FC. Ist half ende with 4:1 in favour of Musuada Foundation FC.
The second half also witnessed intense clash between the forwards and defenders of the two teams. While forward line was busy in making attempts to score, the defence lines were equal to the task to thwart any scoring opportunity. But in 45th minute of the play Faizan Fayaz scored fifth goal for Musuada Foundation FC.In the last minutes of the match, Shari -e- Khas FC players tried their best to score 2nd goal for his team . The match ended with 5:2 goals in favour of Musuada Foundation FC.
