Srinagar: The marathon knock of 214 runs by Ahmad Omar Banday was not enough for JK to save themselves from conceding first inning lead against Himachal Pradesh at Amtar on Thursday. The match ended in a draw with HP earning first inning lead points.
JK started day on 344 runs for the loss of five wickets. The whole got out for 390 , conceding first inning lead of 79 runs. Haziq Bhat 54 while as rest of the lower order was not able to contribute much. Fazil Rashid remained unbeaten on 31 runs.
In reply in its second inning Hp were on 241 for the loss of three wickets when the day’s play was called off. The match ended in draw with HP earning first inning lead points.
Earlier HP had scored 469 runs in its first inning while as JK replied with 390. The highlight of JK inning was Ahmad Omar Banday’s marathon knock of 214 runs.
