Local'Was privilege playing alongside them', says Parvez Rasool on Dhoni-Raina retirement

Srinagar, August 16: J&K’s lone international cricketer, Parvez Rasool, Sunday while paying tribute to MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina on their retirement said it was his privilege to play alongside them.

Parvez made his ODI debut under Suresh Raina in 2014 against Bangladesh while Dhoni kept the wickets for India on his T20I debut against England in 2017.

The all-rounder wished both of them good future ahead.

“Was privilege to play along with both of you. Wishing you all the best #Mahi bhai Suresh Raina bhai…” Parvez wrote on his official Facebook handle.

The former Indian skipper and arguably the best India has ever produced Saturday announced his retirement all of a sudden. Raina, his IPL teammate and a friend, followed him and also called it a day in international cricket.

Cricketers across the globe since have been pouring in wishes for the duo.
