WATCH: Champion DJ Bravo unveils new song ‘Asia’ featuring Shahid Afridi, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli

CricketWATCH: Champion DJ Bravo unveils new song 'Asia' featuring Shahid Afridi, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli

Dwayne ‘DJ’ Bravo is back with his new number which features a host of cricket superstars from the Asian subcontinent. Bravo had earlier launched a song named ‘champion’ based on his sporting heroes and the song was a big hit among his fans. This time around Bravo has come up with something for his Asian fans, who are certain to love his new number which features the likes of MS Dhoni, Shahid Afridi, Virat Kohli and Kumar Sangakkara among others.

The West Indies all-rounder’s love for music is no more a hidden secret. A lively cricketer both on and off the pitch, Bravo likes to play around with some good music when he is not smacking the bowlers on the pitch or troubling the batsmen with his slower ones. He has named his new song ‘Asia,’ and its already a hit among the fans.

Afridi, who also features in the song, took to Twitter to post a quirky wish for Bravo for his new song and wished him well for its success. “Well @DJBravo47, this is definitely an improvement on the ‘Champion’ song, especially since you’ve included me in the lineup. Wishing you all the very best with this new number, & I hope it gets just as popular,” the former Pakistan captain wrote on Twitter with a video of the song ‘Asia.’

Bravo announced his retirement from international cricket in October last year after playing 40 Test matches and 164 ODI for West Indies. He scored 2200 and 2968 runs respectively in the two formats while also picking up 86 and 199 wickets in respective formats. He also played 66 T20Is for Windies and amassed 1142 runs in the shortest format of the game and also picked up 55 wickets.

Bravo will return to India next month for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. He was retained by defending champions Chennai Super Kings and will be looking to continue his fine all-round performance for the franchise in their bid for a fourth IPL crown.
