Srinagar, April 19: Basit Bashir, a 19-year-old cricketer from Kupwara, is currently a part of Punjab Kings net-bowing contingent in the ongoing IPL 2022

A 6 feet 3 inch tall left-arm pacer, Basit has represented J&K at U-16 and U-19 levels. He was also a part of Zonal Cricket Academy and MRF Pace Academy in the past.

Ahead of the IPL 2022, he was roped in by Punjab Kings as a net-bowler. In a video shared by the franchise on its social media platforms, Basit could be seen bowling in the nets.

He also gets interviewed where he reveals how he started playing cricket and who inspires him at Punjab Kings.
