The Sultan of swing and arguably the best ever left arm fast bowler that Cricket has ever produced Wasim Akram achieved distinction of becoming first ever bowler to take two One Day International hat-tricks on this day in 1990.
The former Pakistan skipper Wasim Akram got his second hat-trick in ODI’s at Sharjah against Australia. He got achieved the feat in the Austral-Asia Cup final against Australia. Pakistan won the match by 36 runs in Sharjah.
Akram got wickets of Merv Hughes, Carl Rackemann and Terry Alderman on three consecutive deliveries.
