
Government Women’s College, MA Road, lifted the into-college Judo championship for the fourth consecutive time.
The management of the college hails its Judo team for lifting the inter-college Judo championship, organised by the Directorate of Physical Education, Kashmir University, for the fourth consecutive time, a statement issued said.
In the championship, Kabra, Irfan, Hadiya and Adfar bagged a gold medal each, while Yasirya won silver and Mehak bagged bronze medal.
Principal of the college, Prof Yasmeen Ashai, appreciated the efforts of the students. She assured full cooperation from the college administration in encouraging students to participate in sports events.
Meanwhile, the Judo players of Amar Singh College shined in championship, bagging eight medals.
