Srinagar: Continuing its dream run in the ongoing U23 Women’s one-day tourney, J&K on Sunday crushed Manipura by 140 runs.

Riding on brilliant performances by Bismah Hassan, who scored 81 runs, and Nadia Chowdhary- 4 wickets-, J&K registered yet another dominating win in the tournament.

After finding luck with the coin, the Jammu Kashmir girls decide to hold the willow first. Making most of the flat track, the women in blue made above-par 243 runs in the alloted 50 overs. Bismah Hassan with 81 top-scored while as skipper Tanisha Sharma also chipped in with a cameo.

In reply, Manipura never looked in the game. They lost wickets early one and were lastly, folded on 103 runs, thanks to a wrecking spell by Nadia Chowdhary, who scalped a four-for.

Jammu and Kashmir has been in tremendous form this year, making it their best season in the recent past.
