Wushu online E-training begins

The Sports Authority of India started E-training training for 21 disciplines today. The Wushu Sports has been allotted to Director NERC Imphal and the training will be imparted at the grass root level players and the Intermediate players.

The event was inaugurated by President Wushu India Bhupender Singh Bajwa. He thanked Sports Minister Kiran Rijiju and the DG SAI for the great initiative and hope this type of activities will pave a good result in the future events. He said that the players due to COVID 19 are badly affected and their fitness level has been affected but this initiative will bring them a ray of hope.

The director SAI presented welcome address during the function. He thanked SAI and the WAI for working together for the betterment of  this combat sports  in near future. He said that Wushu is very popular sports now and is known as medal prospectus sports in the Country. He said that Wushu has been included in the Youth Olympic Games.

National Chief Coach of India Kuldeep Handoo, programme director of the E training classes  also thanked SAI and the WAI  and assures with this  gesture that the Wushu athletes and coaches will not leave any stone unturned for bringing the glory for the country at the international arena.
