Showing its financial muscle power, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has forced two of its legends to skip the upcoming rival wrestling event.

WWE legends The Undertaker and Kurt Angle who have been associated with WWE for decades were scheduled to appear in the wrestling show that has links with upcoming rival wrestling company AEW. Though there were no direct links with rivals , but it would have been major deal for AEW whose stars are also scheduled to be present there.

Both Angle and Undertaker were scheduled to appear at the Starrcast II event this week to talk about their careers. Seeing their legends walking away, WWE used all its financial muscle power to sign new deal for them.

Undertaker has been performing for the WWE for almost 30 years while Angle has wrestled for more than 20 years. Angle had his last professional match at WrestleMania 35 before he retired. But for the first time in two decades, the Undertaker missed WrestleMania. He even started taking bookings outside of WWE. Some had speculated that he had retired while others said he was done with the WWE. But The Undertaker put a full stop to all those rumours when he made his return to Monday Night Raw after Mania.

Post his appearance, a report emerged which said that The Undertaker has re-signed with the WWE for a very lucrative amount. Wrestling Observer Newsletter claimed that Undertaker gave a feeling that he is ready to hang up his boots following his matches at Super Showdown and Crown Jewel. But WWE have managed to make him sign a new contract.

As they were set to be at Starcast, the promoter of the event, Conrad Thompson has revealed to Sports Illustrated that both The Undertaker and Kurt Angle have been pulled from the event by WWE. It is said that after signing new deals, WWE exercised its right to pull the plug on any outside appearances from the two legends.

His upcoming appearance with Inside The Ropes has also been changed. He will not take part in the Q&A session with fans that had been advertised but will discuss his rivalry with Mick Foley on the show.

While the future of Angle is unknown, Undertaker could wrestle next month. It is thought that he could have a match with Elias at the next event WWE holds in Saudi Arabia.
