CricketYounis Khan says coaching Pakistan team is an honour

Pakistan veteran cricketer Younis Khan has expressed his desire to coach the team, saying that it would be an honour to coach Pakistan cricket in any format.younis khan

“It is a big honour for a person if he can do some service for the Pakistan team at any level, be it U19 or the national team,” stated Younis, quoted local media.

“Anyone who is offered this opportunity [to coach Pakistan U19] will be ready [and willing] take this job,” stated Younis, who retired from international cricket last year, after becoming the leading Test run maker for the country with over 10,000 runs.

The former skipper praised Rahul Dravid for his mentor ship during the recently concluded U19 World Cup, which was claimed by India after beating Australia in the finals.

The team blue marched into the finals after beating neighbouring arch rivals Pakistan by a massive margin of 203 runs, after Pakistan were all done and dusted on 69 runs.
