Srinagar, October 21: Zaingair Reds on Thursday lifted the Janwara Premier League title defeating Victoria Barmuall in the final played at Janwara Ground Sopore , Baramulla.
Batting first , Victoria Baramulla scored 127 for the loss of seven wickets in allotted 18 overs.
Mehraj Amin with 28, Shiekh Faheem with 25 and Jahangir Bakshi with 24 were top scorers for them. For Zaingair Reds, Kayser Khazir took three wickets.
In reply, Zaingair Reds achieved target 17.2 overs for the loss of only three wickets to register a seven wicket win. Opener Lakshay Malik scored unbeaten 66 run knock from 51 balls while as Urfi scored 37 from 21. For Victoria Baramulla Ishu Pir, Mehjra, and Ubaid took one wicket each.
Lakshay Malik was awarded man of the match as Zaingair Reds were crowned Janwara Premier League Champions .
